The vision of Arizona Families F.I.R.S.T. is to build a family centered service delivery system which promotes family independence, stability, self-sufficiency and recovery from substance abuse, assures child safety and supports permanence for children. Horizon provides an array of structured interventions and flexible services to reduce or eliminate abuse and dependence on alcohol and other drugs and to address other adverse conditions related to substance abuse. Interventions are provided in outpatient and residential settings. The program design emphasizes timely service delivery, face to face outreach, engagement, support services and aftercare.
