Human Services provides the following benefits package to full
time employees.
MEDICAL
- Major medical with prescription, vision
& chiropractic services
- Dental Insurance
- $15,000 life insurance policy.
These benefits go into effect the first day of
the month after one full month of employment. This means that if you
start work in the middle of the month, insurance benefits would not
go into effect until about 45 days later. If you started work on the
first of the month, then benefits would go into effect approximately
30 days later.
VACATION / SICK TIME
Personal Time Off (PTO) accrues at 8 hours per
month. PTO begins to accrue on the first day worked but cannot be
utilized until successful completion of probation. The list below
shows our current PTO monthly allotment based on years of
employment.
- Hire - 3 years: 8 hours per month
- 3 - 5 years: 10 hours per month
- 5 - 7 years: 12 hours per month
- 7 - 10 years: 14 hours per month
- 10 + years: 17 hours per month
Sick Time accrues at 8 hours per month. It
begins to accrue on the first day worked but cannot be utilized
until successful completion of probation. Sick Time hours accrued
are split: half for Sick Time and half for Long Term Disability
(LTD) time.
HOLIDAYS
Horizon Human Services offers 10 paid holidays
per year. You must be a full time employee for a full 30 days in
order to receive holiday pay. After 2 years of employment, your
birthday is an extra holiday for a total of 11 holidays per year.
RETIREMENT
403B - Participation can begin immediately.
The minimum contribution is $10.00; maximum contribution is 10% of
income. The agency matches 100% beginning immediately. 100% is
vested at the end of 6 years of continuous employment.
BANKING
Direct Deposit of paycheck is available to
employees immediately. |
