What is prevention?

Prevention means working with communities, schools, & families to help people live happy & healthy lives.

Horizon Human Services offers the following prevention programs:

Youth Leadership Projects

The Youth Empowerment Project represents a collaborative effort on behalf of Horizon Human Services in both Pinal and Gila Counties, the Casa Grande Boys and Girls Club, and Casa Grande Union High School, to provide training to youth in leadership and involve youth in making positive changes in the community. Youth involved in the project participate in regular meetings, receive leadership training, become involved in local coalitions, and develop and implement training for other youth, community members and parents.
